BOD Meeting on 30 April 2009
Meeting began at 8:07pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2009. In attendance were all board members
with the exception of Phil Reuter, Brian Fisher, Bob Lilley, and Glen Critchett who weren’t available
due to work conflicts.
Much of the discussion centered on the upcoming race at NJMP. Clark Gaynor is working the pit
layout, and Phil Reuter has gotten a pace car for the rolling starts which will occur in the TAG and
Shifter Classes.
We also discussed the Triple Crown idea which is available to any class that draws
10 or more entries for the 3 races, NJMP (Lightning), VIR (North Course), NJMP (Thunderbolt).
The one motion made (by Rodney and 2nd by Steve), was to upgrade the club’s Quick Books
software, amount not to exceed $400. We currently have version 2000 and are looking to either
upgrade to latest release or convert to Quick Books for Non-Profits. Motion passed.
A map of Jen’s proposed parking for the shared event in July was distributed by email. Clark will
get in touch with Don Warren to come up with a counter proposal giving karts better access to pit
in/out, tech area and registration area.
The meeting concluded at 10:00 pm.
