Team race rules announced for Saturday, July 8 at Summit Point Shenandoah

SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — Day one of racing at our July 8-9 regional event at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s Shenandoah Circuit will conclude with a special team race for LO206, TaG 125 and TaG 100 AC competitors. The three divisions will run in the same group, and the race will be held at the end of Saturday’s program, following the last points race.

Team Race Rules will follow the following format:

– 30-minute race.

– LO206, TaG 125, and TaG 100 AC.

– Pits open for driver swap at 10 minutes and close at 20 minutes.

– Pit stop must be made in the window for the driver swap. Kart must come to complete stop, engine shut off, and engine restarted by exiting driver.
– Weights (2 drivers and kart combined for a single recording): LO206 and TaG 100 AC – 525 lbs.; TaG 125 – 540 lbs.

– Note: *There will be no adjustments for TaG 125 based on engine packages, sorry.*

Team race entries will be accepted on Saturday, July 8 at the track ONLY. Entry fee is $50 per team, payable by cash.
