On behalf of the entire 2020 WKC Board of Directors (BoD), we hope that you are all having an enjoyable holiday season. As we (anxiously) await the start of a new chapter in 2021, the BoD wanted to send out some information pertaining to our upcoming season

The 2021 Board Nomination Form is available online! If you, or someone you are willing to nominate, wish to be included on the 2021 election ballot, those nomination forms are due via email to the BoD by January 31, 2021!

Your 2021 Woodbridge Kart Club membership will be set for renewal beginning on January 1, 2021. You can complete your membership form and pay your dues online via RaceDay starting January 1st. A downloadable, printable form is also available on our website should you wish to complete a hard copy and mail it in. Membership fees for 2021 will remain the same – $50 for an adult member and $25 for a minor/junior member.

You will want to complete your membership renewal prior to the elections meeting on February 13th in order to maintain your current reserved number. After the elections meeting, numbers that have not been claimed will become available to anyone seeking a new number.

New this year: You must renew your membership by the elections meeting in order to receive your 2021 WKC t-shirt. If you renew your membership after the elections meeting, you will have to buy your t-shirt for $15 at the track.

As always, we are looking for sponsors for the 2021 season and are grateful for those who have supported us in the past. We sure hope you will consider doing so again this season. The sponsorship form is available for print and download on our website and you may also sign up to be a sponsor this year online via the RaceDay app. This year, sponsorship fees will be $250 and include all the perks from years past. We thank you in advance for considering a sponsorship opportunity!

Finally, with membership dues coming up, the BoD wanted to clarify membership requirements for the 2021 season. As always, if you plan to race for Woodbridge Kart Club championship points, then you must be a WKC member to qualify.

To participate in the three events on our schedule that are also AKRA National Road Racing events (May-Summit Point Main; August-Summit Point Main; September-Pittsburgh), you must be a member of a recognized karting association (WKC, DKC, SKC, AKRA, WKA, CES, SKUSA) with a valid membership card available to be viewed in registration. In the event you are not a member of any association, you may purchase a temporary AKRA membership at the track for $10 an event. In order to qualify for AKRA National points, you must be an AKRA member.
