AKRA 2023 Road Race Tech Manual and Class Structure Posted

MONROE, N.C. — American Kart Racing Association in conjunction with the Dart Kart Club and Woodbridge Kart Club has posted the updated class structure and technical manual for the 2023 AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport National Road Race Series.

These rules and class structure will be followed at this season’s four WKC-hosted races — Summit Shenandoah April Regional, NCCAR National, Summit Shenandoah July Regional, Summit Main August National — and the three Dart Kart Club-hosted AKRA Nationals (Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, Pittsburgh).

There are a number of updates to classes as well as updates to the tech manual from 2022 versions. Competitors are encouraged to review each document and identify any changes to your division(s).

It is each competitors responsibility to be in compliance with the 2023 rules — weight, bodywork, floorpan, engine, driveline, exhaust, chassis, etc. Failures to be in compliance will result in disqualifications in post-race tech.
