In 2023 WKC is ready to host four big events at three different circuits (two different venues) plus joining with Dart Kart Club for national races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Pittsburgh International that will count toward 2023 WKC Championship Series standings.

We get started this April 15-16 with our annual spring Regional event at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s technical Shenandoah Circuit, the host of many WKC events throughout the years.

The karting circuit at Shenandoah is an approximate 1.7-mile course filled with elevation change, high-speed corners, tight hairpins, multiple straightaways and plenty of character. Numerous drivers have offered praise for the circuit for years as it offers challenges like few others.

We’ll have a short turnaround with WKC hosting the first AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport Road Race National of 2023, set for May 5-7 at North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR). Pre-registration for NCCAR will open March 15 and all information on the event will be posted in the days leading up to pre-entry opening.

Pre-registration for the April Shenandoah Regional is now open!

2022 WKC Series Awards Ceremony

The 2022 WKC awards ceremony will take place Saturday, April 15 shortly after racing concludes under the Shenandoah Circuit pavilion.

The ceremony will have dinner provided and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share if they wish. Top 2022 series points finishers and special award winners as voted on by club members will be recognized.

Sponsorships Still Available

WKC Sponsorship Coordinator Bob Wimmer is still working to solidify sponsors for the upcoming season. Click here to view and print the 2023 sponsorship form. Payments can also be made online at WKC’s RaceDay page.

For an affordable price of either $250 or $400, WKC sponsors receive a reserved ~20’ x ~40’ paddock space at all Summit Point events and NCCAR, early pit access on move-in days, your name and logo displayed on woodbridgekartclub.com and acknowledgement on the PA at events.

Sponsorship dollars also help club officials continue to offset costs in providing racers and families professionally run, safe racing events.

Whether you’re competitor, fan or a karting- or non-karting related business, please consider partnering with the club in 2023!
