Reserved parking available for non-sponsors at August Summit Point Nationals

SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — Road race karting has had another successful year thus far with well-attended and safe events at tracks around the country. At WKC, we have one event left to host in 2022 and it’s the annual August AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport Road Race Series Nationals at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s 2.0-mile Main Circuit.

This year, the annual two-day race falls on August 20-21 and as has been the case the last several years it once again be a shared event with the Formula Race Promotions group.

The Summit Point paddock will be tight with karters and formula car racers all needing pit space. Taking this into consideration, the WKC Board of Directors has decided to offer non-sponsors reserved parking spaces for purchase at $50 per spot. Each space will have access to power, which is available for at-track purchase from Summit Point for an additional cost.

If you’re not a WKC sponsor and you’d like to purchase a reserved space for the August National, email WKC sponsorship and parking coordinator Bob Wimmer at l8apex63@gmail.com. Checks should to be mailed to WKC at 224 Murfield Ct; Charles Town, WV 25414.

WKC officials are working with FRP to solidify the weekend schedule. Online registration for the August AKRA Nationals will open in the coming days as soon as the schedule is complete.
