SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. – With our July regional now in the rearview, this means there is only one more WKC-hosted race in 2023! We’ll be back at Summit Point this August 25-27 for Round 4 of the AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport National Road Race Series.
The event is the one and only time this year karts will compete at Summit’s famed 2-mile Main Circuit, and we’re pleased to have a full day of Friday practice on August 25 before two days of racing. This marks the first time in several years our August date at Summit Main will include a Friday practice.
Also, in a change from the past few August Main events, this is not shared event with a Formula Car group. WKC / AKRA karters will have 100 percent use of Summit Main throughout the three-day national event.
WKC officials have posted version 1 of the August 25-27 event schedule. Minor updates may be made in the coming weeks.

Summit Point Nationals pre-registration at WKC’s RaceDay page will open Monday, July 24 at 8am.
WKC will have a short member meeting / discussion Saturday, August 26 shortly after racing concludes.
