WKC Adopts Alpha Timing as New Membership, Registration, Scoring Hub

SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — Woodbridge Kart Club (WKC) is pleased to announce Alpha Timing will be our club’s new centralized platform for membership management, event registration, and race scoring. This transition represents a significant step forward in modernizing WKC’s administrative and competitive operations while improving the overall experience for members and competitors.

The official WKC Alpha Timing website is woodbridgekartclub.alphatiming.co.uk — this URL is now linked on woodbridgekartclub.com under the Registration tab on the main menu.

Beginning with the upcoming season, Alpha Timing will serve as WKC’s single source for online membership enrollment, race event registration, and official timing and scoring services. By consolidating these core functions into one integrated system, WKC aims to deliver greater efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across all club activities.

“Adopting Alpha Timing allows us to streamline how we manage our events and better serve our racers. This transition is still a work in progress and we will be happy to help everyone through this new system as we roll it out,” said WKC President Bill Kassy. “From pre-race registration through post-race results, everything will now flow through one professional, motorsports-specific platform. This improves communication, reduces administrative overhead, and enhances race-day execution.”

Notes on the rollout of WKC Alpha Timing system:

  • We are anticipating that the new system will go live for membership renewals and sponsorship by February 2nd.
  • Membership rates for 2026 will be $65 for an adult/master member and $35 for a minor/associate member.
  • Sponsorship rates for 2026 will be $300 for a single guaranteed parking space and $500 for a double guaranteed parking space.

The WKC Board and chief registrar, Rodney Smith, are all learning the new system in real-time. If there are questions after the system goes live for membership and sponsorship renewals, as Rodney will be the contact point, and the Board of Directors will help fill in gaps if there are issues he can’t answer or resolve.

We encourage members to direct WKC Alpha Timing-related questions to bod@woodbridgekartclub.com.

WKC racers’ first step is creating an account at woodbridgekartclub.alphatiming.co.uk.

Steps will include:
1. Entering your email and creating a password.
2. Entering your contact information.
3. Accepting general terms and conditions.

You’ll then be fully logged into WKC’s Alpha portal and see options to enter events, buy a pit pass, and purchase your 2026 membership. Note: The enter events option will be live until we draw closer to our April season opener.

Representatives from Alpha Timing have produced two instructional videos to help our members through this transition.

Alpha Timing is widely used throughout karting and grassroots motorsports, offering real-time scoring, automated results posting, robust reporting tools, and a user-friendly interface for both competitors and officials. Racers will benefit from simplified registration, clearer event information, and faster access to official results, while race officials gain improved tools for timing accuracy and data management.

The move aligns with WKC’s ongoing commitment to providing a professional, well-organized racing environment and supporting the continued growth of the club. Additional details, including instructions for event registration through Alpha Timing, will be posted on WKC communication channels prior to registration opening for our April 10-12 season kickoff at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s Jefferson Circuit.
