New Travel-Friendly Schedule for 2026 NCCAR Nationals

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — Woodbridge Kart Club is once again playing host to Round 1 of the AKRA National Road Racing Series at the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR).

The event is the same weekend as last year’s — May 15-17 — and this year we’re adopting a new travel-friendly schedule with a later start time Friday, and an earlier end time on Sunday. We hope this will cut down at least one day and night of travel time for most teams, while still providing racers plenty of track time over the three-day event.

Here’s the general NCCAR timeline. Look for pre-registration to open on April 1.
