SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — The 2026 Woodbridge Kart Club season opener is fast approaching this April 10-12 at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s Jefferson Circuit. While cold temperatures and even some snow still persist in the Mid-Atlantic region, as of this writing we’re solidly inside of two months until our first of three visits to Summit Point this season.
This April marks our second event at Jefferson, a 14-turn 1.7-mile layout with elevation change. We had a nice crowd for our inaugural race there last spring, and we’re anticipating another great turnout this year.
Officials have posted the first version of the April event schedule. Click here to view, and keep in mind that small class group changes may be made as we draw closer to the event. If you have any concerns with the current groupings, email bod@woodbridgekartclub.com.
Jefferson pre-registration will open in early March at WKC’s Alpha Timing website. An email blast and Facebook post will be published once it’s open.
Speaking of our new Alpha Timing website, WKC and Alpha officials have been hard at work the last few months finalizing and launching the new platform, which will include memberships and sponsorships, event registration, timing and scoring. Currently, we have 2026 membership purchases/renewals and club sponsorships available. The direct link is woodbridgekartclub.alphatiming.co.uk, which will always be found on the woodbridgekartclub.com main menu under “Registration.”
