WKC Opens 2025 Series April 11-13 at Summit Point Jefferson

SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — As of this posting, we’re only six weeks away from our 2025 season opener with a WKC Regional Road Race set for April 11-13 at Summit Point’s Jefferson Circuit, marking the first ever time karts will race on the circuit.

Jefferson pre-registration is now open at WKC’s new Race Select page. View the Jefferson detailed event schedule HERE.

Located outside SPMP’s Summit Point (Main) Circuit’s Turns 2-3, the Jefferson Circuit is ~1.6 miles, features a pair of 1400’ straightaways, and a number of sweeping high-speed corners paired with multiple tighter, lower-speed corners and elevation change.

The track was originally built in 1966 and expanded in 2014. WKC will run Jefferson in the counter-clockwise direction, and the event will include a full Friday practice leading up to racing Saturday and Sunday.

As we prepare for the event, WKC officials wish to advise racers there is no electricity in the Jefferson paddock, so please be prepared to make alternate plans if you normally purchase power at events.

While karts have never raced at Jefferson, the circuit hosts formula car and sports car events throughout the year. Here are a couple of on-board videos of the full Jefferson course that WKC will be running. Other videos of Jefferson can be found by searching YouTube.
