The 2024 Woodbridge Kart Club racing season is fast approaching!
SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — As of Tuesday, Feb. 13, we’re now only 60 days away from our season opener at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s Shenandoah Circuit, set for Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14. Soon the days will be longer and temperatures warmer in time for WKC kart racing for another exciting season!
Our traditional April regional at Shenandoah has a new twist this year! For the first time ever, we’ll be running our 1.6-mile Shenandoah layout in the counter-clockwise direction. This is the same Shenandoah circuit we always run, just in the opposite direction.
Also, keep in mind that with our July Shenandoah race not on this year’s schedule, the April regional event will be the only time WKC races at this fun and technical circuit in 2024. So, if you enjoy Shenandoah or maybe you’ve never experienced this challenging track, make your plans to race this April 13-14 or you’ll have to wait until 2025!
Pre-registration will open on the WKC RaceDay website in the coming weeks. We’ll announce on WKC Facebook and via this email newsletter once pre-registration is ready to open.
