SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — Woodbridge Kart Club held its annual Membership / Board of Directors Election Meeting Saturday morning, Feb. 10 at Summit Point Motorsports Park’s Main Circuit registration building.
Clark Gaynor Jr., Greg Heberle, Rodney Smith, Brandon Taylor and Simon Whitnell were elected to the WKC Board of Directors for 2024 and 2025. Smith and Taylor also will continue their positions as Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
Clark Gaynor Sr., Eric King and Robert Wimmer will enter the second year of their two-year term as board members in 2024.
Bill Kassy and Jonathan Tedder will enter the second year of their two-year term as President and Vice President of WKC, respectively.
WKC wishes to thank all members who ran for the Board of Directors for the 2024-25 seasons, including Brian Donati, Michael Gaulin, Walter Myers, Dennis Whittaker and Dennis Whittaker Jr.

Event Contracts —
All contracts with tracks for the upcoming season have been finalized and our 2024 schedule is set, beginning with our April 13-14 WKC Regional at Summit Point’s Shenandoah Circuit in the counter-clockwise direction. Pre-registration for Shenandoah will open in the coming weeks.
WKC is pleased to continue our partnership with AKRA (American Kart Road-Racing Alliance LLC) and Dart Kart Club in 2024. We will host two of the five AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport Road Racing Nationals (NCCAR May 3-5 and Summit Point Main August 23-25), and the three Dart Kart-promoted AKRA nationals (Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges and Pittsburgh) will count toward the WKC points series.
There will be bulletins posted in the coming weeks about updates at Summit Point that will change to the way things had previously been at the facility. We will update our membership on these changes as soon as they’re made public as we prepare for the 2024 season.
