SUMMIT POINT, W. Va. — The Woodbridge Kart Club is set to host Race 1 of the inaugural WKC Sprint Series, taking place Sunday, May 25, at the Washington Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park.
This marks a new chapter for WKC, bringing sprint kart racing excitement to the Summit Point facility known for hosting premier events for WKC, AKRA, SCCA, NASA, WERA and many other series. The Washington Circuit is a favorite for drifters and autocross drivers, and it’s now set to welcome the high-speed action of 2-cycle and 4-cycle karting.
“We’re excited to introduce the Sprint Series to the Washington Circuit,” said WKC president Bill Kassy. “Summit Point is a legendary venue for road race karting, and we can’t wait to see many new and familiar faces at our first of three sprint events in 2025.”
