LEXINGTON, Ohio – The 2022 Woodbridge Kart Club points series will now consist of six races with the addition of the June 17-19 Mid-Ohio Nationals hosted by the Dart Kart Club. Mid-Ohio joins four Summit Point rounds – two at the Shenandoah Circuit and two on the Main Circuit – and the Sept. 23-25 DKC-hosted AKRA Nationals at Pittsburgh Int’l Race Complex to make up a six-race WKC series.
WKC joins a growing list of series that count the Mid-Ohio Nationals toward their points series, including AKRA, Dart Kart, KART and the Championship Enduro Series.
It also means the biggest annual road race of the year, in terms of entry count, will count for WKC points. In June 2021, the Mid-Ohio Nationals drew in 942 race entries to make it the greatest road racing turnout of the year.
