Woodbridge Kart Club is pleased to announce the opening of pre-registration and the event schedule for the much-anticipated AKRA Road Race Series Round 1 set for May 22-23 on the Main Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park.

This event should be one of the best-attended road races at Summit Point in recent memory. With the strength the AKRA national series has gained in recent years, plus the addition of the Animal Nationals for Briggs sprint-enduro karts, WKC is expecting a great crowd.

This event will be the opener for the six-race 2021 AKRA National Road Race Series, which will visit Mid-Ohio in June; Grattan, Mich., and Nelson-Ledges, Ohio, in July; Summit Point again in August; and close at Pittsburgh (also a WKC points event) in September.

This will be the first of two chances for karters to race at the historic 2.0-mile Summit Point Main Circuit this year. We’ll be back at Summit Main August 21-22 for the aforementioned Round 5 of the AKRA national series. Both events are two-day races this year (no Friday practice).
